Caroline, one of our MA Fine Art students shares their story.
"I'm from North West England, I enjoy dancing and outdoor swimming."
What is your previous educational experiences and what drew you to OCA?
I have a BSc Graduate from Bristol University and diploma graduate in Psychology.
Can you describe your OCA journey?
I have felt such joy in doing my MA in Fine Art. It has given me permission to do artwork which is important to me. I have found the course rejuvenating, fascinating and nourishing. The only thing I regret is not studying art when I was younger.
What was the Tutor and/or Peer Support like on your course?
Hayley Lock has been amazing. So supportive, caring, warm, inspiring and interesting.
What does studying with OCA mean to you?
My MA in Fine Art is as much a personal development story as it is improving me as an artist and it widens my horizons, interests and gives me hope and a beacon of light for the future.
What's next?
My goal is to gain more gallery representation internationally and to exhibit more and sell more of my beautiful artwork.
Any advice?
Just keep going. Your path will open up in front of you, if you just take it one step at a time.
