More info on our upcoming workshop Saturday morning:

The session will be a very informal, loose and playful approach to how we engage with primary research through a varied use of drawing gestures and media.

There are no specific requirements to the tasks (apart from one set, written below), but you will benefit from having as wide an array of materials as you can.

Essential items:

  • Old magazines/newspapers

  • An old cloth or piece of fabric

Unfortunately I can't attend but it sounds like fun. Will the workshop be recorded?

Reminder of upcoming workshop:

Workshop with Textiles Tutor, Faye Hall. Join this online session for an informal and relaxed session where we will be exploring ways to observe, translate and react to various stimuli through an open approach to drawing. Drawing doesn’t have to be just pencil to paper, it can involve a wide and varied approach using a multitude of materials to translate your reference points and ideas.
