Paid Student Opportunity: Online Sustainability Consultations

Are you studying Social Policy, Social Work, Sociology, Art and Design, Art History or Architecture?

Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK) are holding paid online student consultation workshops in November and December 2024. We are looking to find out what students studying particular subjects think about sustainability and how it relates to their subject. This feedback will then be used as part of the QAA's subject benchmark standard review process, where the frameworks underpinning the study of these subjects will be reviewed and strengthened. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of your subject!

The dates of the events are:

Social Policy - 26th November 4 2-5pm
Social Work - 27th November 9am-12pm
Sociology - 27th November 2-5pm
Art and Design - 28th November 3-6pm
Art History - 4th December 2-5pm
Architecture - 5th December 3-6pm

Each student attendee will need to have access to a quiet space to join these workshops remotely using Teams. The workshops will last 3 hours, with a short break in the middle, and students who complete the session will receive a payment of £40 in return for their time.

In order to qualify to take part, you must be:

A current undergraduate or masters student at a UK based university, or have graduated in the last year
Studying one of the six subjects listed above as the whole or main part of your degree
