About the Event
Together with OCASA and the Photography Social Group OCA Tutor Les Monaghan is hosting a study visit to his Aspirations10 exhibition at The Point, Doncaster on Friday 17 January 2025 from 10:00 to 15:00.
Les will be giving an artist talk with a focus on freelance practice, collaboration and funding. This will be of interest to students planning to sustain a creative practice during and beyond your studies.
We are planning that this will be a Creative Conversations event with the potential for an internet audience and we are planning to have at least one other OCA tutor hosting other activities on the day.
The Point is a modernised and accessible space with a decent cafe. It is a ten minute walk from the railway station up the High Street.
Doncaster is very easy to access by rail with direct trains to London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Hull, Lincoln, Derby, Oxford and Liverpool.
