About the Event
Arlene Sharp Artist talk
Tuesday 8th November 6 - 7pm
Following her recent degree show ‘Painted Space – Remembering Gilbert’s Lake’, join SYP student Arlene Sharp who will be discussing her ideas and inspiration for the exhibition. Arlene’s painting practice is focussed on the colour, shape and form of the natural world and the exhibition showcased work inspired by the local area of Grimsdyke Woods. The exhibition was curated to reflect the experience of seeing and being in a woodland space.
A short presentation of Arlene’s practice together with a video of the exhibition will be followed by a discussion with tutor Fiona MacDonald and students’ Q&A.
The talk will be held in Emma Drye’s Painting Zoom room.
